1. Information We Collect

When a candidate takes an interview using beecrypt, we collect telemetry related to coding activity, input frequency, copy-paste events, display settings, and active tab states. We do not store keystrokes themselves; only speed and cadence anomalies are tracked.

2. Candidate Consent

Hiring organizations are responsible for ensuring candidates consent to monitoring during technical assessments. We present a clear notice to candidates explaining what proctoring telemetry is collected before they begin their test.

3. How We Use Information

Information collected is used solely to provide anti-cheating signals to the hiring organization hosting the interview, to detect macro-based automation, and to improve our detection heuristics.

4. Data Retention

By default, interview session records and proctoring logs are retained according to the active plan limits (e.g. 7 days or 90 days) and are permanently purged thereafter.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. No candidate metadata is sold or shared with third-party advertisers.
